Spectre Privacy Shield Policy

Spectre Privacy Shield is designed to protect sensitive financial information while remaining transparent about how protection works.

Privacy Shield Overview

Spectre Privacy Shield protects sensitive financial screens by limiting capture, locking the session on risk signals, and keeping all analysis on the device. It is meant to be transparent and user controlled rather than intrusive.

Camera Usage

When Privacy Shield is enabled on a protected page, Spectre may request camera access to monitor for privacy risks while that page is open. The monitoring session is temporary and stops when you leave the protected page or disable the feature.

Local Processing Only

All detection happens locally on the device. Images are never saved, images are never uploaded, and video is never recorded or transmitted to Spectre or third parties.

Object detection is optional and experimental. It attempts to recognize camera-like or phone-like objects near the device, but it may produce false positives or false negatives. It never guarantees detection.

Permissions

Camera permission is requested only to enable the on-device monitoring flow for protected screens. Notifications are optional and can be used for security alerts. Biometric permission is optional and only used to restore access quickly.

Spectre stores the financial information that helps you manage money locally on your device. This includes financial records, transactions, budgets, categories, debts, business information, preferences, biometric preferences, and PIN settings.

Local Storage Only

All your financial information is stored locally on the device. Spectre does not transmit financial records, transactions, budgets, debts, or other personal information to Monecuer servers.

There is no cloud synchronization, no account required, and no advertising tracking data sent from the app.

Data Security

Spectre uses encrypted local storage and secure device capabilities to keep your data protected. The application is built with an offline-first design so your information stays on your device unless you choose to export it.

You control your data. You can delete your information at any time through the app, and no data is shared without your explicit action.

Children’s Privacy

Spectre is not directed at children under the age of 13. If a parent believes their child has provided personal information through the app, please contact support to request removal guidance.

Changes to Policy

Spectre may update this privacy policy from time to time. When changes occur, the latest policy will be available in the app and on the website.
